Details Rochel (Zoe Lister Jones) and Nasira (Francis Benhamou) are young teachers at a public school in Brooklyn and they both have something unusual in common: They are both about to get hitched in arranged marriages. Although Rochel is an Orthodox Jew and Nasira is a Syrian Muslim, the two women become fast friends as they deal with their difficult situation — trying to remain "free" women while also sticking with their own personal religious beliefs and practices.
