To say that the online film journalism community is one big dysfunctional family is putting it mildly. Even though we compete for scoops, interviews, etc., most of us are actually good friends. A lot of my peers I consider close friends. Some I consider lowlifes who will step on you the first chance they get.Its not an easy job. Between set visits, interviews, daily news, junkets, reviews, press lines and conventions, its a lot of work. Im not sure why, though, but film journalists can do some really silly things. If youre a movie journalist and are guilty of one or more of these habits, then hopefully you take this advice and change your unprofessional ways.
